Playlist ChangeI would like a change to the playlist so that when you you insert a pattern in the playlist it puts the pattern that is selected on the instrument rather than the default of A1 or the pattern number that was last used unless you change it in the playlist for that specific instrument.
Playlist Changewhere else can the consumer get customer support so friendly, efficient and instant?

Playlist ChangeWell, it's been changed for some time now, just thought to bring the good news.
As it is right now, you can literally paint across the playlist, Orion will always put last used pattern in a track, which to me sounds like what Sysscan's wished for. At least it doesn't always put A1 on your tracks, so the system is a bit more intelligent now. SoundCloud ::: Facebook
Playlist ChangeWhich version. I have version 7.62. It doesn't remember which pattern you last used for each instrument though. If you put in pattern A2 for an instrument on the playlist and then A3 for a different instrument and then go back to the last instrument it uses A3 instead of A2.
Playlist ChangeHe's talking about the beta version.
Playlist ChangeYes, sorry for not mentioning that little details, but since this is Sysscan's wish, he/she will just have to wait for the next release (and please, don't ask when, it's been asked soooo many times already).

Playlist ChangeActually, I am pretty sure he is wrong. I also think it's a bad idea, as it would mean having to change pattern numbers in the synth's toolbar before inserting them into the Playlist. I much prefer the current system. You can use F11 to coppy all current patterns to teh Playlist, which should be more than enough.

Playlist ChangeI'm not sure what you mean. Who's wrong and what about?
The current system works like he asked, with the difference that you don't have to select a pattern on the instruments' toolbar. So, if you had patterns A1-A2-A1-A3 in the playlist track, next placement will always be A3 as the last placed pattern in the track. That's how the playlist works now. SoundCloud ::: Facebook

not quite if you have A7 selected on the synth toolbar, then put a pattern in the playlist, it will put in A1, or whatever the last pattern you inserted. He wants it to auto insert whatever is on synth toolbar. F11 is the only way to insert patterns that are currently selected on the synth toolbar, but it inputs all generators into playlist, not just one. That's right, but that is not what he was asking for. He was asking for the Playlist to be aware of the current pattern selected on the instrument's toolbar, which it does not currently do, nor should it. Playlist ChangeYeah, that's true. Guess I didn't understood his post quite well.
Not sure now if you can even hear the pattern change from the instrument's toolbar while in Song mode. But, yeah, like bones said, there's always F11 for that. SoundCloud ::: Facebook
Playlist ChangeF11is a good tip. I did not know about that. Thanks bones. That's probably good enough for me.
