New graphics siteWhy animated?
@ TT: You have to download them to see it. Last edited by HYPNAGOGIA on Tue Nov 23, 2010 4:36 pm, edited 1 time in total.

New graphics siteThe Synapse is written in Gif, I made some animated effects to give more, say a little "scene" and the logo is a drawing I made as an alternative to the old logo "Synapse Audio Software" .. I thought that a written animated Gif you can put on top of the site .. After I do not know is just a proposal ..

New graphics siteThe thing is, you missed the actual logo, the 'S' in the orange circled square - or squared circle :hihi:
Personally, I don't think this site needs animated anything. Doesn't matter if the current logo is gif, the next one can be any other image format out there. But, seriously, animating the letters, what's supposed to be readable, doesn't go well in designs. Actual logos are fine if there's a purpose or a customer's desire for that. PNG actually isn't that bad, except for the red "Audio Software", that kind of jumps out of the concept. With ani-gifs I see strange artifacts here. What colors do you prefer? To give a little three-dimensionality to the site .. Synapse S http://www.box.net/shared/d82f82ng0c Last edited by ECdj79 on Tue Nov 23, 2010 7:39 pm, edited 1 time in total.
New graphics site
Why does it have to be three dimensional? To be honest, you got it all wrong... the letters, the logos. You're re-inventing something that shouldn't change at all. The logos for both SA and Orion are practically trademarks of Synapse Audio and very recognizable, so why change them? On top of that, GIF is just ugly format, brings artifacts wherever you look, just look at the edges. PNG+A is much better format for transparent images, but if you opt for animations, flash is the way to go. SoundCloud ::: Facebook
New graphics siteLOL but how? I commit myself and anything is not good . .. How sad! I give up then ha ha what the PNG + A?
New graphics siteIt's good that you're trying, don't give up. Criticism isn't a reason to quit, but to keep pushing on.
PNG+A is PNG with alpha channel... you know, transparency SoundCloud ::: Facebook
New graphics sitebut it is a type of rendering video or is a type of format? Where can I find this PNG + A?

New graphics siteIt's an image format. Like you have bmp, jpg, gif, also you have png, but with it, you have an option to enable its background to remain transparent. Saving it in that format differs from one graphic software to another. Somewhere you'll find its just simple "Save As" and choosing the right format, others do it by Exporting.
